Great work Sean, nice to hear someone zooming in specifically to what can hold people back. I’ve seen this so much in my work coaching corporate leaders and teams, people not running with the ideas until they get external validation, using the as a tool to combat internal doubt, rather than changing/challenging the internal message (self-talk.) The other reason I often come across is fear of rejection … ‘If they don’t like my idea, will they still like me?’ – Ties into Social Brain stuff and status anxiety, and again naming and normalizing is a great strategy to help overcome it.

Brilliant. This is the stuff that stops most people from following through on great ideas. Everyone experiences this in their own way and at different levels. Having strategies to deal with it as you have outlined can offer people a path to follow. A path that will get them to go beyond what stops them, their internal thoughts and emotions.
Keep the videos coming.

Hi Sean, This was really timely for me, and covered each of the self doubts I’ve been having just today as the date looms for me launching a whole new new heap of IP, and requiring me to stand up in front of others and spruik it. Cheers, and thanks! Carol

G’Day Sean, great video, fabulously targeted with specific advice and brilliant productive actions. Thanks for sharing. I have also shared it with a few of the chicks coming to the Million Dollar Expert program with me in Santa Monica.
